Today we were victims of yet another attack.
someone at around 12:30 am came to our restaurant pointing a gun at us, both of us ran towards the back seeking shelter in case the guy decided to fire at us. We have constantly be victims of different types of aggressions but never thought they were going to escalate this much, it is truly disgusting how in todays age people can’t see past skin color, we are thankful to many members of this community but unfortunately with this we are saying goodbye permanently. Thankfully the mineral county police came to investigate. We still don’t understand why there is so much hate to people who look like us, we have worked hard for the money we used to open a business that brings jobs and financial development to the city but instead of been happy about it we are hated for it, we are leaving permanently not just as a business but as a family looking for safety, my mother who is a woman who has worked incredibly hard her entire life and yesterday had an awful panic attack (because of the fact she ran away from someone pointing a gun at her)and we ended up in UPMC, it is truly disgusting how people can be so stupid and inhumane that just because a culture or the skin color people is different than theirs it means we are evil deserving of insults, death threats and literary attempted murder, Let's remember we've evolved beyond our primitive ancestors we are not longer cavemen. We have the capacity to think rationally and solve problems without resorting to animalistic behavior or violence so please we urge you to use it.
