☕💙 A Special Opportunity for Someone in Our Ridge Spring Community! 💙☕
As many of you know, the Blue Canoe Café has been a special part of my life, and I’ve truly enjoyed creating a place where friends, neighbors, and visitors can gather, enjoy a meal, have a cup of coffee, and feel at home.
I believe with all my heart that our little town needs a café, a place where people can come together, share stories, and enjoy the sense of community that makes Ridge Spring so special.
That’s why, before I move forward with listing the property through a commercial real estate agent, I wanted to reach out to my friends and our local community first.
The Blue Canoe Café at 620 East Main Street is available as a turnkey café opportunity!
The property includes the café building, its fully equipped kitchen, refrigeration, freezers, pizza ovens, panini presses, state of the art expresso machine and any other equipment including ice cream equipment, tables, chairs, and the lovely outdoor sitting area with its crape myrtle trees and picnic tables.
We have a point of sale system in place as well if interested!
Everything is in place for someone with the enthusiasm and vision to make it their own. You could continue with the Blue Canoe Café name or create something entirely new!
So why am I considering selling?
My equestrian business has always been my first passion and my life’s work. Between the horses, my other business commitments, and everything else going on in my life, I’ve come to realize that I simply need to dedicate more of my time to what I love most.
If I had more hours in the day, I wouldn’t even consider selling the café. But I also believe someone else could take this opportunity and make something wonderful out of it.
And here’s something else I’d like to offer.
For the right person, I would be open to discussing creative purchasing arrangements, potentially including a payment schedule or some form of seller financing, to help make this opportunity possible. Naturally, any arrangement would need to work for both of us.
My greatest hope is to see a café continue in downtown Ridge Spring. I would especially love to see someone local take it on, put their own personality into it, and make it a success with their own flavor.
I will be moving forward with a commercial real estate professional, but before formally listing the property, I wanted to give our community the first opportunity to explore it.

We have no closing date in mind at this time! The Blue Canoe Café will continue operating with our current hours, serving our friends, neighbors, and community just as we always have, until further notice.
