Oh my! You guys are so amazing. I’m thinking Saturday September 28th at riddle park potluck bbq. We will bring burgers and fixings. Does anyone know if there are bbq pits at the park? Let me know who will be there so I can make sure we bring enough. Also thinking 1 pm to start.

I have left the henhouse page up since we had to leave our location last year in hopes of starting over. Nick and I have looked at different locations and even considered a food truck. At this time we do not think we want to start over from scratch. It just takes to much time and we are not getting any younger. The long days and hours are just a bit much. We want to thank everyone for being there for us all these years you are all so freaking awesome! We love and miss all of you! We would also like to do a henhouse reunion of sorts. Maybe a bbq before the weather gets too cold or something. Send me some ideas!😘

Hello all you beautiful and amazing people! These last few days have been so humbling and amazing. The love and support you all have shown us over the last years and especially the few days has really made us see how much we are loved!! Upon finding out that our building is sold nick and I decided to close our doors and move out before we are given our 30 day notice. Only because when said buyers were looking at the place last Thursday the bought the people that will be leasing building for their own restaurant. We didn’t want to have to worry about a ton of food and inventory so Sunday will be our last day. We will be there all week packing and cleaning up if anyone would like to have some coffee with us

Last night I lost one of my best friends. My sister Melanie battled hard against the nasty cancer. Many of you know her and loved her some of may have been scared of her but she really was gooey on the inside. She worked here at the henhouse for a while and helped out a lot. She will be missed by so many. Today we are closed as we process our thoughts and feelings. I’m not sure I will be ready to come back on Sunday. But for sure we will be back on Wednesday. Thank you so much for your understanding and support. Hug your loved ones now you never know.
