Have you ever shared an idea that excited you, only to be met with raised eyebrows, side-eyes, or silence?

Don’t be too quick to question your vision.

Sometimes the issue isn’t your message, it’s who’s listening.

Not everyone was meant to understand your dream. Not everyone can see what you see. And you need to be okay with that.

Keep speaking. Keep building. Keep believing.

The right audience is closer than you think.

Dear SHERO...

Yesterday I found myself doing it again, keeping score. Not with anyone else, but with myself. I counted the things I didn’t finish. The calls I didn’t make. The goals I haven’t reached yet. The ways I could have been better, done more, tried harder.

It was exhausting.

What’s even more strange is that the scoreboard keeps moving. The moment I accomplish one thing; another expectation takes its place. The finish line never stays where I left it.

I wonder how many of us are living this way.

How many women go to bed feeling like they didn’t do enough, even after giving everything they had that day? Maybe that’s the problem with a soul that keeps score. It can never rest. No achievement is large enough. No effort is good enough. No victory lasts long enough.

There will always be another point to earn. Another box to check. Another reason to withhold grace from ourselves.

But today, I’m considering a different possibility.

What if life was never asking me to be everything? What if my responsibility is simply to show up faithfully, do the best I can with what I have, and trust God with the outcome? What if peace begins the moment, I stop measuring and start surrendering?

I cannot control every result. I cannot force every door to open. I cannot guarantee every dream will unfold exactly the way I planned.

But I can be present. I can be faithful. I can do my best. And I can trust that maybe, that’s enough. Maybe the deepest form of doesn't come after you've accomplished more. Maybe it’s found in finally putting down the scorecard.

Today, that’s exactly what I am deciding to do. Not because everything is finished but because I need to remember that my worth was never supposed to be tied to the numbers in the first place.

Do your best. Surrender the rest.

How many opportunities have you scrolled past because you weren't sure you were ready?

The truth is, confidence rarely comes before the leap. It comes after.

The business.
The conversation.
The application.
The dream you've been carrying for years.

At some point, you have to stop waiting for certainty and start trusting yourself.

Take the chance.

Your future self is waiting on the other side of brave.

Dear Shero...

Life doesn't always go our way.

If we're honest, most of us want life to unfold according to our plans. We want the opportunity, the relationship, the business, the promotion, the healing, the dream—on our timeline and in the way we've imagined it. We work hard. We pray. We prepare. We show up. And somewhere deep inside, we hope that effort guarantees a certain outcome.

But it doesn't.

One of the hardest lessons in life is realizing that we control our actions, but we do not control the results.

We can plant the seed, but we can't force it to grow.

We can make the call, but we can't make someone answer.

We can love people, but we can't make them stay.

We can build the business, but we can't force people to buy.

We can do everything right and still experience disappointment.

That truth can be frustrating. Sometimes heartbreaking.

Yet there is freedom hidden inside it.

When we stop trying to control outcomes, we can focus on what truly belongs to us: our attitude, our effort, our character, our faith, and our willingness to keep moving forward.

Maybe the question isn't, "Why didn't this go my way?"

Maybe the better question is, "Who am I becoming through this?"

Because every setback is shaping something. Every closed door is teaching something. Every delay is developing something.

Life is not a vending machine where good behavior guarantees the exact reward we want. Sometimes life is a classroom. Sometimes it's a refining fire. Sometimes it's simply a reminder that we are not in control of everything.

And maybe that's okay.

Our job is not to guarantee the outcome.

Our job is to show up with courage, do the work, learn the lesson, keep the faith, and trust that the story isn't over yet.

At the end of the day, peace comes when we stop demanding that life go our way and start believing that, somehow, we can find our way through whatever life brings.

Do your best.

Release the rest.

And keep walking forward.

Too often we see a problem and immediately feel frustrated, defeated, or overwhelmed. But what if we looked at it differently?

Every challenge is simply asking something of us:
❓ What can I learn?
❓ What needs to change?
❓ Who can help?
❓ What step should I take next?

The moment we stop focusing on the problem and start searching for the answer, we shift from feeling stuck to moving forward.

Today’s reminder: Don’t fear the question. Get curious enough to find the answer.
