Heading to Stoney Creek BBQ Cookoff this weekend to cook with Jake at K-Town Pit Que, looking to defend our cocktail title and make a mark with chicken and ribs. Come on down and join us for BBQ, music and a car show on Saturday. I’ll be testing libations Friday for the Fillibuster Distillery turn in on Saturday.

First official test in the books! Many lessons learned, a good look and flavor to the chicken, need some work on the texture. All in all a success! Glad to prove I can smoke on the PK grill so I can dedicate the WSM to ribs.
