🎃A Little Ones’ Halloween
Gathering at GRACE 👻
Saturday, October 31 | 12–4 PM
Calling all our little monsters, ghosts, goblins, and witches!
Come gather with us for an afternoon of Halloween magic, mischievous delights, and a few playful frights!
Make your own mini pizzas, create a little Halloween magic with handmade crafts, fill your own trick-or-treat snack bags, and enjoy a little mummy-wrapping madness!
Warm apple c***r, witch’s brew, and a few spirited potions for the grown-ups, too!
Seasonal soup, grilled-cheese soldiers, popcorn, and homemade apple oat bars available à la carte.
$25 per little monster Includes pizza making, crafts, snack bag, and all the Halloween fun!
Our little Halloween pizza feast begins at 2 PM!
Come in costume, or just as you are!

Space is limited! DM us or email [email protected] to reserve your little monster’s spot.

Please note: GRACE will be closed for regular dinner service on Saturday, October 31.

What a beautiful weekend celebrating one year of GRACE.
Thank you to everyone who came through our doors, gathered with us, and celebrated with us — and especially to our small and mighty team for all the care and hard work they give to GRACE.
After a very full weekend, we’re giving our team — and GRACE — a well-deserved night of rest.
We’ll be closed tonight, Monday, September 28, and back Thursday.

One year ago today, we opened the doors of GRACE.

One year. So many moments, we gave up trying to put them in order.

Many seasons. So many dishes, ideas and creations that came and went with them. Early mornings at the market, late nights in the kitchen, full tables, quiet nights, celebrations, challenges, and so many people gathering here.
GRACE has always been about more than what lands on the plate. We are building something rooted in Virginia — in its land and waters, in place, in season, in the people who grow and make our food, and in the community, neighborhood and neighbors that surround us.
We work directly with our farmers, cooking from what they have at that moment and allowing what is coming from the land to shape what we create. Small by design, led by the seasons, wasting less, and continuing to explore what a more connected way of cooking, eating and gathering can look like.
None of it happens alone.
To our team — those who have been beside us since the beginning, those who joined us along the way, and all of the people who have lent their hands, time, talent and heart to GRACE during this first year — so much gratitude.
To our farmers, growers, fishermen, makers, w**emakers, importers, artists, friends, neighbors and everyone who has collaborated with us, supported us and believed in what we are doing — thank you.
And to every person who has walked through our doors — our regulars and our first-timers, those who have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and moments around our tables, those who brought a friend, told someone about us, came back again, or simply chose to spend an evening with us — thank you. You have become part of the story of this little place.
One year of GRACE.
Rooted in Virginia. Rooted in place. Guided by the seasons. Made with a whole lot of heart.

W**e, batched cocktails + seasonal spirit-free sips will be available separately. Each drink purchase also includes another raffle ticket + another chance to win.

A very special piece to share as we get ready to celebrate GRACE turning one.
J. Lo visited us throughout our first year, and yesterday the Richmond Times-Dispatch published his review of GRACE, naming us a Critic’s Pick!
To have someone experience what we’ve been building by simply coming through our doors, sitting at our tables and eating our food — and then put that experience into his own words — feels incredibly special.
Thank you, Justin, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch for spending time with GRACE and sharing it with your readers.

Many moons ago, when I was very young, GRACE began as a dream and a goal — not simply to have a restaurant, but to create a space of my own, where the food, the people and the feeling of gathering around a table belonged together.
That vision grew as I did. After many years cooking and building a career in New York City, working directly with farmers, planting seeds and growing a garden behind my restaurant, I came to Virginia to take it further.
I arrived in Richmond with a location for GRACE already in mind. When that location didn’t work out, I kept moving — through years of pop-up dinners, collaborations, guest chefing, farmers markets, a residency, building and rebuilding. Countless lady hours, tears and doubts. Through it all, I believed in what I was building.

GRACE has never been about the food alone. The people who work inside it give this place its heart — a family that cares for one another and believes how we welcome and care for our guests matters just as much as what we put on the table. And around that family is a community of farmers, producers, friends, neighbors, guests and so many people who have shown up, lent a hand, believed in GRACE and helped us get here.
To everyone who has been a part of GRACE in some way, and especially to our team who gives so much of themselves to this little restaurant every day — I am deeply grateful. Thank you for gathering with us, growing with us and being part of what GRACE has become.

A gathering indoors and out — our GATHER table filled with a seasonal spread, passed bites, w**e, cocktails, music, and a few special drawings throughout the evening.

And somehow, quite fittingly, it all falls under the Harvest Moon — a little nod to the full-moon Gather for GRACE pop-up dinners where it all started.
For our community — the farmers, growers and makers, the hands who work beside us, and the people who have come through our doors and sat at our tables this first year.

Our first Sunday back, and a good one to spend at the table.

Today’s Sunday Seasonal Set Menu brings a little of our New England travels home to Virginia, alongside the last of summer coming in from our farms.

Southbound lobster buns, tomatoes & sweet corn, wild striped bass skewers, country-style steak, and more of the moment - with Sunday seasonal sips to go along with it all.
