A Love Letter to Bellevue 💚

WOW! Three years ago, we signed the lease to what would become the very first brick-and-mortar home of You Matter Juice Bar & More.

And what a journey it’s been.

After much prayer and reflection, I’ve made the decision not to renew our Bellevue lease. Our final day serving the community at this location will be Saturday, October 31, 2026.

This decision is bittersweet, but my heart is full of gratitude.

Bellevue was more than a storefront. It was a place where a dream took root, a community grew, and I experienced some of the most transformative seasons of my life.

I walked through depression, divorce, healing, rebuilding, and transition while building this business. And through it all, God’s grace, provision, and alignment never ceased to amaze me.

Looking back, I can see His fingerprints everywhere. While I was building You Matter, God was rebuilding me. 💚

To every customer, team member, friend, and supporter who has poured love into this space over the years, THANK YOU. You’ve been part of something so much bigger than juices and smoothies.

And while we’re closing this chapter, You Matter is NOT closing! We’re consolidating and continuing forward at 100 W. Clay Street, and I’m asking our community to continue this journey with us. Your continued patronage, referrals, shares, and encouragement mean more than you know. We still have so much work to do, so many people to reach, and exciting plans ahead.

Sometimes growth looks like expansion. Sometimes it looks like consolidation. And sometimes it’s simply trusting God enough to know when a season has fulfilled its purpose 🙏🏽

Bellevue, thank you for being our first physical location. You’ll forever be part of our story.

Fiber maxing has entered the chat 👀🫘

I’m always looking for ways to get more fiber + protein into the things I already enjoy, so I’ve been experimenting 😬

Did you know you can add beans to smoothies?! 😂 Stay with me.

I took our Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie, which already has banana + cauliflower, and added black beans for an extra boost of fiber and plant-based protein.

And before you make that face 😂… you cannot taste the beans. It’s still chocolatey, peanut buttery, creamy goodness.

To our regulars who continue to show up and love on us, AND all the new faces we met during the 16.19 race today, THANK YOU 🫶🏽🫶🏽

The energy was unmatched. So many hugs, smiles, laughs, conversations and affirmations filled our store today. 🙏🏽✨

Some of you even shared stories about our little Clay Street spot from years ago, when it operated as one of the neighborhood grocery stores. Hearing those memories and learning more about the history held within these walls made today even more special.

Seeing familiar faces mixed with people experiencing You Matter for the very first time reminded me exactly why we do this.

Community and Connection. It’s a place where people can walk through the door and feel seen, welcomed and reminded that they matter.

Our store was full today, and so was my heart. 🥹💚

Today is 988 Day.

This number means more to me than I could ever fit into a caption. In moments when the weight of life felt too heavy to carry, there was someone on the other end of that phone who listened, stayed with me, and helped me make it through.

988 has helped save my life and I’m forever grateful.

I’m grateful to still be here. Grateful for every person who answered the phone. Grateful for the help I was brave enough to reach for. And grateful that some of the days I once thought I wouldn’t survive are now behind me.

If you’re ever in one of those moments, please stay. Make the call. Send the text. Let somebody sit in the darkness with you until you can see a little light again. Your life matters.
