ith a sidewalk coffee trailer in the fall of 2012. After bouncing around the city for several years, we fell in love with an open spot at VCU and decided to open our first storefront on campus in the newly renovated Arts Depot building. A few years after that, we decided to close up shop but then received a message on Instagram from a local restauranteur that was eager to keep the shop alive. He bought the shop, we sold the trailer, and now Alchemy exists under new ownership but still in the VCU Arts Depot building. We've added more food options and broadened our beverage selection.
