POP UP THIS WEEK

This is a picture of kobop’s first day on the street, 6/3/2023. Started out with a $2600 hotdog cart and a goal to spread Korean flavors through familiar foods at an affordable price

Our OG tacos are what you would eat in a lettuce wrap at Korean Bbq but in a flour tortilla shell.
Bulgogi beef ribeye, Gochujang pork belly, gochuiang tofu. Topped with pickled onions, kobop (spicy mayo) sauce, and kimchi salad that they give you on the side at Kbbq

Simple menu, complex flavor.

ANNOUNCEMENT

What a year.
Thank you everyone, sincerely, for making my dreams fruit into an actual reality.
That goes to everyone who has supported the journey (love yall who know the og red cart), and my team who trusted my vision and worked their asses off to make my vision visible to the world.

It’s now time for a new chapter and we’re crossing the river with for the new location in Forest hill! (=Westover hill). I wont say much, except, Great drinks, great food, great vibe…..… its going to be a great time. It is expected to open summer 2025. I will document the journey and bring you guys to the new location so that you guys stay up to date.

With that said, the contract with Buskey ends 1/5/2025, which means there’s not much time left for you guys to grab the platters before the last day🥲 Kobop is still open regular hours this week.
Closed 12/25-12/26 AND 1/1-1/2.
Once closed, I am gonna take the time off the truck and reflect on the journey so far, go deeper on why I do what I do and work on my passion project (v.2) that I now have time for, which I will keep you guys updated as well. (I will still do Kobop pop-ups here and there - no worries)

Special shoutout to everyone in the restaurant industry who has helped me navigate this world as a 25 year old, never hesitated to give free advice, always wanted to see the best of me, and picked my head up when I was down. I will never forget the kindness and will pass it down to the younger generation down the road. Thanks to & for the great article and a shoutout. Thanks to for being amazing to work with and for this dope rendering. Thanks to team for making this year unforgettable and providing the opportunity to spread the wings.

I have a lot that I’m currently working on that I am very excited to share with you guys soon so stay tuned.
Can’t stress enough but thank you everyone who has been a part of this journey!
