Last night, Chef Caleb and Sous Chef John joined some of Richmond’s best chefs for the Birdhouse Farmers Market's 9th Annual Farm Dinner.

The evening brought chefs together to create a multi-course, family-style meal using ingredients donated by Birdhouse vendors, all in support of Birdhouse’s mission to fight food insecurity and strengthen connections through local agriculture and food education.

We’re proud of Caleb and John for being part of such a meaningful evening and for putting local ingredients to work for a great cause. Thank you to Birdhouse for bringing Richmond’s food community together around a mission that matters.

We’re Giving Back to Scott’s Addition! 

As a proud member of the Greater Scott’s Addition community, we believe that great neighborhoods are built by the people and businesses that show up for them, and right now, our neighborhood needs us! 

We’re partnering with the Greater Scott’s Addition Association (GSAA) and the Capital Region Land Conservancy to help fund Christie’s Garden, a permanent public park coming to 3420 Norfolk Street right here in Scott’s Addition. Christie and Kevin Barry are donating over $1.4 million in land value, the City of Richmond has committed $250,000, the Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond has donated $40,000, and GSAA has donated $5,000, but the community still needs to raise ~$300,000 to make this park a reality. Every dollar counts!

Visit us at Yellow Umbrella (Scott’s Addition), Slack Tide Fish Co., or Fish Camp Catch Counter and we will donate percentage of all sales towards Christie’s Garden.
