United Restaurant Group is a small business that operates 22 TGI Fridays in the mid-Atlantic region. Though our restaurants are branded TGI Fridays we operate as a locally owned business and we pride ourselves on empowering our employees to create a family like work environment. In fact, it’s not unlikely to see management, executive leadership or owners rolling up their sleeves clearing tables, seating guests or washing dishes. The position of Back of House Team Member is responsible for ensuring that every guest receives the best experience by providing them consistent, high quality food and great service. All Team Members are responsible for kitchen cleanliness, restocking, providing continuous delivery of products that meet quality standards, and understanding and enforcing all health, safety and sanitation regulations. Team members may rotate with other team member positions as needed. Stations include line cook, prep cook, expeditor and dishwasher.
Pay is based on experience. We have exciting positions that pay over minimum wage. Increases occur once you successfully complete your introductory period of employment and as you complete further training.
Other Skills/Abilities:
Standing for long periods up to and exceeding four hours
Able to lift at least 25 lbs
Able to work on your feet for long shifts
Able to hear well in an environment with loud background noise
Must be able to frequently immerse hands in hot and cold water
Must be authorized to work in the United States
