We were honored to welcome author and wine industry veteran Dominic Nocerino to La Grotta.
Dominic’s book, The American Dream, tells the inspiring story of a young immigrant who arrived in America from Italy with little more than a cardboard suitcase and a dream. His journey from family life and soccer fields in Italy to becoming a respected figure in the wine world spans more than five decades and countless connections throughout Italy’s renowned wine regions.

Wow! ❤️Have you been to in Richmond, VA?

Blew us away on a random Tuesday night … we biked over there with a 6:30 reservation to enjoy their surprisingly affordable three-course wine pairing.

From appetizer through dessert, every wine pairing was perfezione, every plateful was molto generoso, and every mouthful molto delizioso. 🥰

Hands-down, the very best calamari both Mark and I have ever had in our lifetimes.

Just … do it ! … it’s so indulgent and memorable. And a great place to bring anyone you really want to impress.

The incredible Seafood Caciucco. A coastal Italian seafood medley featuring half lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels and halibut delicately simmered in a fragrant saffron tomato broth.
