💕✨ EAST COAST EXPO RECAP… FINALLY! 😂

Okay y’all, I KNOW this was a few weeks ago, but your girl is BACKLOGGED on content! 😩😂 Between baking, orders, pop-ups, dessert bars, deliveries, mom life AND running the business…posting sometimes comes last. So bear with me while I catch up!

The East Coast Expo at Richmond Raceway was THREE days of vending, shopping, networking and meeting Sweeties from everywhere—New York, Jersey, DC, Maryland and beyond! 🧁💕

First, Kip 👏🏿 I absolutely adore her. Boss lady, hustler, driven and ambitious! When she asked me to come back and vend, I HAD to be there. 💕

And my new vendor bestie Dr. Kate Kate , co-owner of Corvo Coffee Coffee—girl kept me FUELED all three days! 😂☕️ Between customers we talked business, family and life. I love meeting other women entrepreneurs and making genuine connections along the way.

Then there was Firdaus Chocolate . 🍫😩 The DISPLAY?! Absolutely gorgeous. Had me ready to buy a vintage display case for MiMi’s! 😂 And the chocolate was just as good—turtles, chocolate-covered caramel dates, Biscoff chocolate… Listen. If I ever woke up tomorrow and decided I wanted to become a chocolatier, THAT is the kind of presentation I’m going for! 😆

THIS is why I love vending. Yes, I’m there to sell sweets, but I also get to meet incredible entrepreneurs, support other businesses, make connections and meet Sweeties from all over. 💕

🎶 Working on the weekend like usual… 💕🧁

Everybody asks, “What are you doing this weekend?” Meanwhile, pop-up vendors are somewhere loading, unloading, setting up, breaking down, and loading AGAIN. 😂

It’s definitely not glamorous behind the scenes, but seeing that pink setup come together and my Sweeties show up makes it worth it every time. 💗

💕 SMALL BUSINESS OWNER = ALL THE JOBS 😂

Owning a small business means wearing ALL the hats—baker, salesperson, accountant, content creator, photographer, scheduler, inventory manager, customer service, packer, cleaner, social media manager… and CEO. Whew! 😅

And somewhere in between all of that, I’m still a mom and trying to keep everything moving.

People see the pretty setup and the finished desserts, but there’s SO much that happens behind the scenes to make MiMi’s Sweet Thangs run. And somehow… we get it done. 💗
