When's the last time you did this with a friend (or friends)? THE AFTERNOON STOP... Come sit a spell. Get a little something.

Celebrate "The diner booth hang". Order sweet potato fries or Southern Popcorn (fried okra), Cokes (a brew or cocktail), one shared appetizer (maybe Redneck Nachos), or dessert and occupy a booth for a while. Importantly, the purpose isn’t dining. The purpose is hanging out. **Food gives you somewhere to do it.

Eager to revive the 1960s afternoon pie break: “Let’s go get a piece of pie" ... and visit for 15 minutes or so. In 2026 it’s “I need a little treat" between 2-4p ... and Bubba's Bistro has the treats: peach cobbler, banana pudding, fried MoonPie®️ or another small Southern sweet (or savory nibble) + sweet tea, coffee or a distinctive cold drink.

More authentic than one knows! ... our hometown, Richmond Hill, Georgia USA

Bryan County, By the Way… #1

That “R” has a story.

Take a closer look at the City of Richmond Hill’s logo—the “R” was intentionally used to mirror the sweeping shape seven-mile bend of the Ogeechee River. Around here, even our letters have a sense of place.
