🎃 Fall Baked Honeynut Squash 🍂
If you love sweet potato or butternut squash, you have to try honeynut squash! They look like mini butternut squashes, but they are sweeter, richer, and the perfect single-serving size.
Ingredients
1 honeynut squash
1 to 1½ tbsp butter
1 to 3 tbsp maple syrup
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Sprinkle of salt
(measure all ingredients with your heart!)
Instructions
1. Prep the squash: Slice the honeynut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds/guts.
2. Fill the wells: In the cavity where the seeds were, add your butter and maple syrup.
3. Season: Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and a pinch of salt to taste.
4. Bake: Bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes, until the flesh is fork-tender and caramelized!
