One of my favorite things about being a cake decorator, is being able to plan my kid’s birthdays exactly how they imagine them. I love letting them help me design their cake and come up with ideas, and watching their creativity come through. This was such a fun theme to work with, and my baby girl absolutely loved it! I love when I get orders that are just a little different than your typical birthday cakes. Who doesn’t love the vibrant colors and beautiful feathers of a peacock?! This cake was so much fun to create and decorate, and I loved the reaction I got from the beautiful birthday girl when I delivered it to her. It’s those moments that make my work worth every bit of time that’s put into it.

Life has been a little hectic the last couple of months, so I have really slacked on my posts. But now that I have a moment, I’d like to share a little of what I’ve been up to!

This cake is so special to me. A friend of mine asked me to make her baby shower cake, and I was so delighted to oblige! Her and her husband are going to be the best parents, and little Valentine is so very lucky to be picked to be their son.

Her Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit themed baby shower was seriously the most adorable theme ever! 🥰😍

I love Tim Burton, and Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favorites! So I was pretty excited for this order. One of my favorite repeat customers had me make her birthday cake, and her excitement about it was inspiring! The reaction when I bring a cake into a room is my favorite part of my job. Makes all the hours put into it so worth it!
