Join us next Tuesday June 23rd at Mountain Table for a wonderful night of great food and live music!

We are thrilled to feature Marco and Randal Piper from the West Virginia Renaissance Festival, who will each be performing solo sets throughout the evening, as well as coming together to play a few songs as a duo. It is going to be a fantastic backdrop for your dinner.

Our kitchen will be serving up a beautiful Appalachian Inspired menu, featuring comforting highlights like country fried steak and savory mini lamb pot pies.

To perfectly complement your meal, our bar will be crafting some unique cocktails designed to pair beautifully with your food, and we will have a selection of delicious desserts to finish the evening on a sweet note.

We cannot wait to share this special evening of music and local flavors with you, and we will see you this coming Tuesday.

July is packed with amazing events at Mountain Table, and we are so excited to share our new calendar with you. We are kicking off the month on Tuesday, July 7th, with tacos and margaritas from 3 to 8 PM. Join in on the fun and vote for the winner of the with the Superstarr Challenge.

The following week on Tuesday, July 14th, join us for a special Farmers Supper on Bootstraps Night. Later that week on Thursday, July 16th, we are hosting an exclusive Wine Pairing Supper, which does require an RSVP in advance, so please reach out early to secure your spot.

The fun continues on Tuesday, July 21st, when we will be serving up delicious smash burgers and cold craft beer. Please keep in mind that we also offer a happy hour from 3 to 5 PM every single week to get the evening started right. We will be wrapping up our July events on Tuesday, July 28th,with a Greek Daddy Supper and a Solar Holler Party.

Hear ye, hear ye, for weekend three of the West Virginia Renaissance Festival is nigh, and the grand gates shall fling wide for another round of merriment tomorrow at 11 AM sharp. We stand ready to keep your spirits high and your bodies fueled through every bit of the jousting, music, and theatrical madness the kingdom has to offer.

As you traverse the bustling faire grounds, be sure to chart a course for both of our legendary outposts, the Grill of Thrones and the Knights of the Mountain Table Cafe.

Seek out our cafe booth to secure your essential caffeine elixirs, refreshing smoothies, or quick snacks to sustain your journey, and do not forget to plunder a fresh bag of our roasted coffee to take back to your home kingdom!

When a monstrous hunger strikes, march over to our skewers booth at the Grill of Thrones to grab a delicious, hot pork belly skewer perfectly crafted for feasting on the move.

We cannot wait to see all you lords, ladies, and scoundrels out there in your finest festival garb, so come on by our camps and let out a mighty arrrrrrr.

We are putting out a community alert for the area surrounding our shop in Renick! Unfortunately someone took our large red catering cooler and a few other small items from the area right by the back door of our kitchen.

We had initially hoped that someone just mistook them for trash since they were sitting nearby to dry after being cleaned. But we just spoke with a neighbor who reported that all of the contents from his broken down truck were also stolen the same day.

That large red cooler cost us hundreds of dollars and is an essential piece of equipment that we need every single week to run our food truck, manage our private catering events, and stock our festival skewer booth.

If you have these items or know where they are, please just bring them back as soon as possible, no questions asked. We just want our gear back so we can keep working and serving everyone.

We ask you all to help us spread the word so this doesn't happen to anyone else in our community. Unfortunately, it looks like you all should keep an eye out and don't leave things laying around like we did.

We took a trip down to Charleston yesterday for a fantastic MarketReady Producer Training Program session led by Timothy Woods and Savannah Columbia.

It was an incredible day spent hanging out with fellow producers and the dedicated changemakers who work behind the scenes to make things happen for our local agricultural system.

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone at the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition and Appalachian Cellar for hosting such a valuable event and bringing everyone together.

When you strip it all down, the mission remains simple and vital, because it is entirely about getting local food to local people.

We are excited to take everything we learned and put it into action right here at Mountain Table to keep building a stronger, more resilient food community.

Come on in and join us for game night at Mountain Table!

We are opening up the space for you to play some games, enjoy a refreshing craft beverage, and just chill. We will also have popcorn and cookies to snack on while you play.

You can join the fun today from 4 to 8 PM, and we will be doing it all over again next Thursday as well. We cannot wait to hang out and see you!

Our food truck Wild Vittles is headed back to Old World Libations Friday!

We are rolling back into Old World Libations this Friday, June 19th, and we are ready to bring the heat!

OWL is where the Mountain Table mobile story started, back when we first announced the Wild Vittles name, so that lot will always feel like home turf to us.

You all showed up and showed out the last time we parked there, and we cannot wait to get the truck back to see everyone again.

This Friday is also Juneteenth, and there is no better way to honor the day than by feeding the community that keeps us alive.

The fire gets lit and we start serving at 4 PM sharp, so do not even think about showing up half hungry or looking for a light snack.

We are throwing down a heavy Jamaican Inspired lineup featuring smoky jerk chicken, rich jerk pork belly, and a deeply spiced cauliflower curry. Every single plate comes loaded with traditional Jamaican peas and rice alongside sweet festival bread.

To cut through the heat, we are bringing out a wicked pineapple passionfruit punch and our signature cold brew lattes.

Show up, get fed, and celebrate with us this Friday.

The Mountain Table Market is open tomorrow and Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and you are also always welcome to pop in whenever you see anyone working at the shop.

We have plenty of great items available to help you restock your kitchen, including a fresh supply of meat from Four Cs Homestead and Spring Creek Superior Meats, LLC, and tons of our freshly roasted coffee of course!

We also have butter available for only $5 per pound. While you are stopping by, make sure to peruse our other offerings like fudge, honey, frozen meat, fresh mushrooms, and our delicious take and bake quiche.
