This summer has been quite the ride for us.
July started with a power outage in the middle of extreme heat, having to close over a holiday weekend and an ice machine that decided to intermittently cooperate (and is frustratingly, still an issue). It ended however, with us closing on a new house, purchasing the building The Reister’s Daughter resides in and moving into our new home- all within about a week!
If you had told me a year ago that we would end up choosing to purchase the 250 year old building that our shop resides in, I probably would have laughed. But after six years (almost 7), 2026 has really become a turning point for The Reister’s Daughter. We’ve continued to grow and become busier and it feels crazy that we now get to say that 202 Main Street, The Beckley House, is ours.
It’s honestly wild to think about how much has changed and happened since we opened six years ago. What started as a dream has grown into something that we get to build on -literally & figuratively- for years to come.
We have a lot of ideas that feel impossible right now but we are so excited to see where the rest of 2026 takes us and what 2027 has in store.
Thank you for continuing to stop in, support us, bring your friends and family, celebrate with us and make The Reister’s Daughter what it is.
Here’s to the next chapter of 202 Main Street! ☕️❤️
