Dandy’s Second Saturday

If I hosted a small event on the Second Saturday morning of each month around 9-10 am, do you think people would show up?

Possible event ideas include:
- a pet show.
- a kids’ craft fair (where kids 12 and under who make things could sell their wares)
- a scavenger hunt
- a bird house contest (submit your birdhouse before and I will have them set up vote Saturday voting)
- popcorn, balloon animals, and face paint

I hate myself so much right now. I’m one of the people that believes in season. We don’t do Christmas in July and we don’t do Halloween in spring.

I went to the craft store because I needed ModgePodge.

I bought 2 fall themed coffee cups to take full menu promo pictures.

Then I bought…

… decorations for December.

In August. Because they went with my coffee tree theme. And wet half price and abundant.

I hate me so much.

ETA: oh yeah… Fall menu goes up next week!!

A new, bigger air conditioner is finally being installed. Y'all know this building is tiny and there ain't no work-around for staying open while work is being done. (throwback picture of the building under construction)

There is something so ‘late summer in the south’ about an icy Arnold Palmer. It is just so refreshing when temps soar and humidity is heavy in the air
