Meet The Shepard. Did you know that Al Pastor originated in Mexico City where Lebanese immigrants introduced the local people to shawarma? Pork was more plentiful and they adopted the marinade to include local chilis. Also, did you know the best time to visit Spark Pizza is between 3 and 5 for happy hour and the shortest wait? You probably learned at least 1 thing. I know I did. 😂

Looks like the weather is going to be gorgeous for the next couple of day. The sun isn’t going to last forever. The best way to skip the long line at Spark is to get here early. Happy Hour runs from 3-5 daily and you can usually grab a seat right away. Pizzas start at $15 as do bottles of red and white w**e. So clearly the best Happy Hour on the Eastside! Currently featuring this delicious red blend from our friends Chris Gorman Come see us before the waitlist gets going!

Last months fundraiser was the most fun one yet. Getting to meet Oliver and his family was a special moment for all of us. We sold 703 kids and cheese pizzas for the month. At $.43 for each one we raised $302.29. Even more exciting was the engagement with our community. Our guests rounded up to the tune of $345.64. And the QR code from the boxes and our social media resulted in an additional $1,675. That was the most from any pizzeria participating last month. Way to go Redmond!

It’s time of year when we are inundated with pumpkin spice and the sun goes down way too early. Which means it’s time for Spark’s winter hours. A huge thanks to everyone that was part of our best summer ever! It’s a real love fest with our staff and the wonderful people that visit us. The heaters will get fired up soon and we look forward to being a part of your holidays!!

We are just over halfway through our fundraiser with Pizza Bib | Custom Pizza Boxes 🍕 and National Pediatric Cancer Foundation September is pediatric cancer awarness month. Every day 43 children are diagnosed with cancer. So we are donating 43 cents for every kids pizza and cheese pizza sold for the month. Come in and help us with this important cause, get some takeout pizza for the family, round up on your order or donate directly at pizzaforgood.org Together we can all make a difference.

43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the
U.S., so participating pizzerias will be donating a minimum of $0.43 from select pizza orders alongside round-up donations from customers.
