This is by far our saddest post of the year as we are saying goodbye & literally best wishes of all time to our angel in human form…Ellie 😭 This Saturday June 6th is her last day at Black Rose & to say it’s devastating to us all is an understatement 😩 Her spirit, her attitude, her smile can change anyones day, she exemplifies what it means to be a truly GREAT person and we are so much better for having her in our lives ♥️ Please come by our Hilltop location tomorrow from 8-4 or Saturday from 7-2 if you’d like to tell her just how much you have also loved her & will miss her 🥰 Thank you Ellie for all of your hard work & the love you’ve shown to your BR family…we will miss you dearly 🫶🏼

Happy Birthday to our amazing, dedicated, beautiful Abi! 🎉🎂🎈 She has been a part of our BR family for a couple years now & we are so lucky to have her 🫶🏼 She genuinely cares about our customers & even more so about their dogs 🐶😂 She works incredibly hard, takes pride in doing a great job & is always willing to help cover shifts (gotta make that concert $$$) 😜 In her free time she’s most likely making ceremonial matcha, loving on her cats, hanging with her younger siblings or doing something outdoors 🌲🏔️ Love you Ab & hope you have the very BEST day that you deserve ♥️

Some important information for our Hilltop location customers 😉 Beginning Saturday June 6th (and for every Saturday following) we will be open from 7am-3pm. We know it will be a bit disappointing to no longer be open until 5pm but we have very legitimate reasons for the change. As the summer heat begins that also means our ice machine will be working overtime 😬 Our ice machine produces MAJOR heat inside of the shop & we aren’t able to turn it off because we use ice in 90% of the drinks we serve in the summer 🧊☀️ Unfortunately our AC unit can only do so much in the Redding sun to try & keep our crew cooled down 😳 Last year our Rosistas would have to deal with temps hitting 90+ degrees inside our very small shop & we are not comfortable making them work in those conditions so we will be closing at 3pm to avoid that as much as possible. We will continue being open until 5pm Mon-Fri unless that also becomes unbearable…but of course we will keep you very informed & give you plenty of notice if there’s any change 😉 Thank you so much for all of your support & understanding! We appreciate you more than you know 🫶🏼

Tomorrow is our Fundraiser Friday for May and what a perfect way to start this Memorial Weekend as we support an organization dedicated to honoring our veterans 👏🏼
Flags & Flowers was started by Preston Sharp 11 years ago and has become such a wonderful example of appreciation & gratitude in our community ☺️ Every year Preston, along with many volunteers place flags & flowers at the graves of fallen soldiers and personally thank them for their service ♥️🤍💙 We will be donating 10% of our entire sales for the day from BOTH locations 😊 So start your Memorial Weekend helping to support those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country 🇺🇸
