💛 In Loving Memory of William 🕊️
Today, we want to use our platform to share a story that has deeply touched our hearts.
Our family’s 8-year-old nephew recently lost a classmate, William, who had been courageously battling DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a rare and aggressive form of childhood brain cancer.
Unfortunately, William has since passed away, leaving behind a family who fought tirelessly to give him every possible chance, every precious moment, and a lifetime’s worth of love.
DIPG is one of the most devastating forms of childhood cancer, and there is currently no cure. Stories like William’s remind us just how important continued research, awareness, and support are for children and families facing these diagnoses.
Although William and his family are in Colorado, we believe that community doesn’t end at city or state lines.
We are sharing the family’s GoFundMe to help support them during this unimaginable time, while also bringing attention to the urgent need for more research into rare childhood cancers like DIPG.
