Paul Wayne Hayes, 53, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on October 1, 2025 at St. Vincents Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on February 6, 1972 in Kennett, Missouri. Paul was a member of the Greater Vision Church where he was a children’s pastor and minister. He enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, and spending time with family. Paul was very involved with Greene County Tech archery and PTO program.

Survivors include; wife of 25 years: Vicki Hayes of the home; three children: Victoria Hayes of the home, Jacob Hayes of the home, Cooper Hayes of the home; mother: Norma Shipley (Jim Walker) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; two brothers: Cecil Hayes (Nelda) of Rector, Arkansas and Michael Shipley (Kaylee) of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Janice Crossno of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister in law: Mindy Galczynski (Scott) of Paragould, Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; special friend: Sammy Leisure (Crystal) of Paragould, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his father: Butch Shipley; his mother: Mary Jo Hayes; and his mother-in-law: Carolyn Cooper;.

Those to serve as pallbearers will be Jacob Hayes, Jason Duke, Jared Pulver, JW Fox, Rick Nelson, Jr., Jonathan Waggoner, Marvin Gant, and Tim Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Gilmore and Michael Shipley.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Greater Vision Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Bishop Rick Ethridge, Pastor Keith Floyd, and Pastor Sammy Leisure officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

As many may have already seen, dad passed away this morning. As y’all know he was the main face of the food truck. He loved serving and meeting all of our amazing as did I. As much as I love serving all of you amazing customers Hog Heaven BBQ will no longer be running. I am very sorry and so very thankful for the last 4 years y’all have made the most amazing and full of great memories.

Hey y’all it’s Victoria! I wanted to update yall on what been happening this last week. Dad was admitted to the hospital last Wednesday. He is paralyzed from the waist down and has a severe infection his spine. He is now be treated by specialist is Little Rock. They will be doing a surgery to reverse the paralysis. Prayers are greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately the trailer will be closed until further notice.
We hope to be back up and running to bring y’all great BBQ soon!

PLEASE READ ‼️Hey y’all due to some unexpected circumstances we will not be set up in Rector this Friday 9/26. So anyone that pre ordered ribs we will be unable to prepare those. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused ‼️

Good morning everyone this post will be for Rector AR at Pharmers Market we will be back with you guys on Friday 9/26/25. We are doing the pre-order on ribs again. If you wish for a full side of ribs on Friday 9/26 please post on here or you can message us. This way you will be guaranteed a side of ribs. So far every time we have had them we sell out fast. We are not for sure if they will be St Louis like in the past or may even get some baby backs this go around. Just did 80 sides of the baby backs Saturday and they were amazing! These are full sides and they are meaty for sure. $30 per side.

Want to say thank you to everyone that made today such a great day. A big apology for some of the extended wait times for food. Today was crazy busy at times with 20 orders on deck. We do our best to make every order exactly as you wish. We don’t take our quality of food lightly. We want to give you the best quality just as you have ordered it, at a great price and with good size portions. We love each and everyone of our customers. We hate that we sold out of absolutely everything today as we had to turn away several customers and left 2hrs early. God Bless and we will see you all next Friday!

Friday 9/19 we will be at the Pharmer’s Market Rector AR. 11am-6pm we will have full slabs of St. Louis style ribs for pre-order $30 per slab also whole Boston butts avg. 10lb before smoking $50 each. Rib plates and slabs will be available while supplies last on Friday. Guarantee your ribs by pre-order by commenting in this post or DM this page. We will have our fish plates and full BBQ menu.
