What was once a farmer’s market is now Judy’s on Cherry, a beautifully renovated, Mediterranean-inspired fine dining restaurant in the heart of downtown Reading. At Judy’s you’ll bask in the warm glow of vaulted wooden ceilings, gorgeous appointments and relaxed, comfortable service. Judy’s hearth fired oven turns out everything from freshly baked focaccia bread to crispy, gourmet pizzas, pastas a

nd tapas –like small plates. Signature summer appetizers include a Mixed Seafood Seviche in Crispy Fried Avocado, Chilled Gazpacho Soup and Baked Shrimnp ala Grecco. Seasonal new entrees items like Rosematy Garlic Lamb Sirloin with Fava Beans and Fennel, Salmon with Baby Spring Vegetables and Orange Buurre Blanc and Three Cheese Ravioli with Lobster and Tomato Vodka Rosa Sauce are jsut some of the highlights of our newly refreshed menu. For an impressive way to end the evening, Judy’s specializes in luscious homemade desserts and frothy cappuccinos. The key lime pie and the seasonal sour cherry and deep dish Jersey blueberry pies are sure to delight the senses. Reading native, Judy Henry, is the chef-owner and presides over daily operations like a proud mother hen. Henry has been the toast of the area restaurant scene since the summer of 2002 when she opened the southern European themed, Judy’s on Cherry. Before opening her own restaurants, Henry had made a name for herself with innovative cooking at The Peanut Bar and Restaurant, another local area landmark. We offer a one of a kind urban fine dining experience that the ‘burbs simply don’t have.”

We are proud sponsors of this year's GenesiusKids Summer Camp! Tickets are still available to see the campers perform Cinderella tomorrow, 7/24 - Stop by Judy's On Cherry or The Speckled Hen for an early dinner and head up the mountain for the 7:30pm show.

If you are unable to make it to the performance, please consider donating to Genesius Theatre Reading. Did you know that Genesius performs three annual productions exclusively featuring children and teens? As a 501c3, Genesius Theater and GenesiusKids rely on the generosity of our community to keep these programs running.
