🇩🇪New Update on 2026 Roberts Cove Germanfest🇩🇪

Just want to give an update on the eve of Germanfest. We didn’t receive any rain today so the grounds are in decent shape. As of tonight, the roads and parking lot are in great shape but keep an eye out for the potential of passing showers for this weekend. Reminder, if possible, to come in a vehicle that can handle muddy conditions, wear appropriate shoes for wet grounds, bring a change of clothes for the kids and towels to dry off. We would like to thank everyone who spent their time and effort to make this weekend possible to help us celebrate our German heritage. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we deal with Mother Nature.

The Roberts Cove Germanfest is inviting the Habetz family to meet near the Arches on the Church Parking lot at 9:15 on Saturday morning. Annette Ohlenforst Simon will guide you thru the opening ceremonies.

🇩🇪UPDATE ON 2026 GERMANFEST🇩🇪
With rain in the forecast, we know there may be some uncertainty about the upcoming Germanfest. At this time, we are planning to move forward as scheduled and are looking forward to gathering together with family, friends, and our community.
Weather is always something we have to keep in mind when planning an outdoor event, but a little rain won’t dampen the spirit of the festival. We’ll continue to monitor the forecast and will communicate any changes if necessary.
For those planning to attend, we encourage you to come prepared for the weather. A few things to consider:
• Rubber boots or waterproof shoes — it may be wet and muddy.
• Rain gear or a rain jacket — umbrellas may not always be practical.
• A change of clothes — especially for the kids! They may have fun getting a little muddy.
• If possible, come in a truck or vehicle that can handle muddy conditions. This may make getting in and out of the festival grounds easier.
Most importantly, come with a good attitude and be ready to have a great time! We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and support as we work with Mother Nature.
A little rain won’t stop us from gathering with family and friends and making memories at another great Germanfest!
