Hey ya'll! A heads up for ya! Starting today, Oct. 1st. Southside Diner will be open on Saturday and Sundat only! It's just too slow to justify staying open during the week. So next week and until we close for the season, we will be open from 7:30 to 3 on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks for the support this year and we'll see on Saturday or after church on sunday!!

When the blinds are up and you can see in the diner and the OPEN signs are in the windows, I am open. Especially if it is between Thursday and Sunday during the hours of 7:30am to 3pm. Many people have pulled up and sat outside for a minute but I've caught them just before they were pulling away and they say " we weren't sure if you were open". Or people have poked their head in the door asking if I'm open as they didn't know. This post is to assure everyone that if the signs say open and the window shades are up and the door is unlocked then yes it most assuredly means that I am open. So don't be a stranger, (being strange is okay) and come on in!!

So, obviously I'm a dog person. As evidenced by the two fur beasts I have running around the place. But, they don't come in the diner. If mine can't come, then neither can anyone else's! 4 legged fur beasts stay outside. If they are happy go lucky abs get along well with other fur beasts then they are more then welcome to run around with mine.

Just to let everyone know. From now until the end of the season, we will be closing on Wed. We will be open Thursday to Sunday from 7:30 am until 3 pm.

Oh good Lord!! I give up! lol...smh....this has been a month, so far, of shifting sands. I think I am going to just quit making plans for this whole month! So, ya'll remember the post yesterday about a wedding?? And me closing to go to said wedding?? Well hold on to your hats!! yup, things changed! Guess I'm NOT going to said wedding afterall! So yup, that means I WILL be open tomorrow! Sorry for the last minute, but that has been my month so far. Yes, the wedding is still on, bless the happy couple...just my august presence is not required. (Just because a new carhart Tshirt and old jeans arent considered proper attire or something) I guess....lol....So! come on out for brekkers or burgers and if ya wanna byob well then, that's okay too!
