Since the Cats won today, I decided to only bring the necessities this evening! Thankfully, I got overruled and forced to pick up the rest of the menu items but danggggg if a handful of smoked ribs and some cold beverages don’t sound amazing after a hot day cheering on the K-State Football

Today is National POW/MIA day and the folks at North County wanted to pay tribute to remember those who have not yet come home.

Purpose of the Day
* Honoring Heroes: This day remembers Americans who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action.
*
* All Conflicts: It covers every branch of service and all past wars.
*
* Supporting Families: It acknowledges the heavy sacrifices made by loved ones waiting for answers.

Unaccounted-For Statistics
* World War II: About 71,679 service members.
*
* Korean War: About 7,400 service members.
*
* Vietnam War: About 1,566 service members.
*
* Desert Storm: 2 service members.

We will have a special table setting for the “missing service-member” during our dinner hours this evening.
