Hello to everyone and I know it has been a bit since our last post and we do apologize as our intention was not to keep you all wondering. Since June of 2018 we had been very busy with trying to distribute our equipment and also getting new jobs while this issue plays out in Fed. Court. We will have a more informative update soon but we just wanted to thank each and every one of you prayer family and friends, for the continued support and encouragement. We are fighting the good fight each day...in Christ!!!!

Went to court this morning. The judge shared that he had enjoyed our place. Even the County Counsel (off the record, of course) shared that he too enjoyed our place. The Eviction trial was dismissed without prejudice because we have now vacated. Now we fight our biggest battle with the religious discrimination case. Please pray for Carlo and I as we start a new journey. That God provides us new jobs, whereas, we can continue to share his word! God has always blessed us and we know He will continue blessing us. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Dear Friends and Family..... It is with sorrow that I announce the closing of our Cafe Justice. As some of you know for the past 6 months we have been fighting against an act of religious discrimination that was started by the department of real estate services of the county of San Bernardino. For the last 11 years we have served the people that work and come to the Superior Courthouse, and as part of our ambience, we have a playlist that includes some contemporary Christian music. Because of a complaint from an athiest group, we were targeted for retaliation by the department of real estate services. We have been harassed with a false eviction that we have been fighting for the last 3 months. We have been to eviction court five times and it has been passed through 3 judges so far. This in itself is more than odd but according to other judges and DAs that support us, this stinks of political brushing. We have never missed a payment in 11 years and the judges have been stymied on how to make the eviction work?

So because of the costs thus far , we are closing down under duress and hardship. We had thought that the inquiry from the board of supervisors would have brought forth some relief bu unfortunately , there has been no word from them.

We are proceeding to Federal Court for our main case which we will be entering with a lot of evidence and constitutional support. We are fighting for the principle that we as a people have been given the freedom to believe and live in a manner of faith and with this we also have a right to free speech. We are confident in our cause and plan to see this to the end because we don't ever want to see anyone have this happen to them. This is AMERICA and we are AMERICANS...... We will not sit still as our rights are being trampled and treaded on. We ask that you keep us in prayer and if you are inclined to help, then just go to our Cafe Justice page and keep in touch.
