🏈🔥 THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE! 🔥🏈

After weeks of teasing, we’re excited to officially announce The Rib Bowl, coming to Selmer, Tennessee on Labor Day Weekend!

This will be a day filled with great food, friendly competition, and community spirit featuring:

🏆 Two Rib Cook Off Association sanctioned rib contests (St. Louis & Baby Back)
🍗 Wing Ancillary Competition
🎉 People’s Choice Anything Tailgate Contest
👑 Grand Champion Award
🏈 Best Tailgate Theme Site Award

But The Rib Bowl is about more than barbecue.

Every dollar raised helps support the young athletes at FSL Elite Training as they learn the value of discipline, hard work, commitment, and pursuing their goals both on and off the field. This event is an opportunity for our community to invest in the next generation while enjoying a day of competition, football, and fun.

And trust us… this is only the first announcement.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be revealing additional activities, special guests, fan experiences, and opportunities that will make The Rib Bowl much more than a barbecue competition. We have big plans for this event, and we’re just getting started.

What a day!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support Big D’s Q and the girls’ lemonade stand. We had friends and family stop by all day, and we’re especially grateful to our friends who drove all the way from Arkansas just to grab some BBQ and lemonade. Your support means more than you know.

Now for the question everyone has been asking…

🏆 Who won the great “Boys vs. Girls” showdown — the BBQ truck or the lemonade stand?

After much debate, friendly trash talk, and a thorough review of the evidence, we’ve reached an official ruling:

The girls win. 🍋👑

Why? Well, the girls run the social media page, and without all those posts bringing people out, neither side would’ve sold much of anything. Therefore, by executive decision of the Social Media Committee, the championship trophy goes to the lemonade stand.

The boys have requested a recount, but their appeal has been denied.

Thank you all for making our first event such a success. We had a blast serving everyone, and we can’t wait to do it again!
