It is with a heavy heart that we announce the official closure of all Flavor Hills operations.
Thank you for all of the love and support we have received over the years.
Flavor Hills, was a space to showcase Black excellence.
As Black people, we are smart, caring, loving, creative and resilient.
Flavor Hills represented more than a restaurant.
Flavor Hills represented hope.
Over the years, we employed hundreds of Black/Brown men and women and served thousands of guests while creating a community where our people could gather, celebrate, have fun, eat good food, and most importantly, feel safe and at home.
Behind the food, the music, the packed dining rooms and the pictures on social media were real people making a difference in the lives of others.
We mentored, built people up when they had given up on themselves.
And at times stood beside them during the hardest moments of their lives.
Flavor Hills became more than a business to us because the people inside of it became family.
And the responsibility of that family was carried long after the doors closed every night.
As we close this chapter, there are so many emotions that are difficult to put into words.
But above all of those emotions, there is gratitude.
Gratitude that God Gave us the opportunity to build something that mattered.
Flavor Hills may not have lasted forever, but while it was here, it meant something.
To every employee who ever put on a Flavor Hills uniform, thank you.
To every guest who ever walked through our doors, thank you.
To every person who shared a post, told a friend about us, celebrated with us, defended us, prayed for us, encouraged us, or simply chose to spend your hard-earned money with us, thank you.
The closing of these doors does not erase what we built together.
Buildings close.
Businesses end.
But the people impacted by them continue forward.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for growing with us.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
Thank you for allowing us to build Flavor Hills.
With Love,
The Flavor Hills Family
