It’s Weekly Special Time! And this one’s got history, flavor, and a whole lotta garlic.

You could travel up to Maine for lobster or down to New Orleans for crawfish,but if you’re chasing pizza history, New Haven, CT, is where the trail leads. Home of the legendary white clam pizza, Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana has been slinging their thin-crust, coal-fired “ah-beets” since 1925. It even earned the title of “best pizza in the United States.”

But lucky for you, you don’t have to book a flight to get a taste of the legend. We’re bringing our tribute south with the return of the V White Clam & Garlic Pizza, available this week only!

We start with our signature house-made dough, using imported Italian 00 flour for that perfect bite. Then we load it up with pan-roasted garlic, freshly grated Pecorino Romano, and hand-chopped baby clams. It’s all seasoned with oregano, fresh parsley, and a generous drizzle of EVOO. And while Pepe’s version skips the mozzarella (or mootz, as they say), we’ve added some because who doesn’t love a little extra cheese?

Chef Gio, our in-house New England native and pizza legend, brought this recipe to life based on the pie he served for years in his own pizzerias up north. This one’s personal—and we think you’ll taste the love in every bite.

We start this sassy little number by layering shredded Mozzarella on our dough made from imported, Italian 00 flour. We add Sliced Meatballs, Calabrian infused Ricotta, Fresh Mozzarella, Garlic and Basil! Then we add our “Arrabbiata Sauce” before finishing it off The V Way (pecorino Romano, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil)!

The Arrabbiata Sauce (Arrabbiata means Angry 😡 in Italian) is the spicy sauce made in house by mixing San Marzano tomatoes, fresh garlic and basil, Calabrian peppers, and Extra Virgin olive oil! All the flavors you know and love, but with a kick!

1. Temper Tantrum - if you’re a real glutton for punishment ask for “The Temper Tantrum” and we will add spicy habanero peppers!! You’ve been warned!

Most restaurants ask, "How can we make this cost less?"
We ask, "What's the best version of this ingredient we can find?"

That question has shaped every item on our menu since the day we opened.

It means using Caputo "00" flour from Naples, Italy. Is it one of the most expensive pizza flours in the world? Absolutely. We buy it anyway because we've never found a flour that creates a lighter, more delicate crust.

It means importing San Marzano tomatoes grown in the volcanic soil surrounding Mount Vesuvius because that mineral-rich soil gives them a naturally sweeter flavor and balanced acidity.

It means using Calabrian peppers from southern Italy because they bring layers of fruity, smoky heat instead of just burning your mouth.

It means finishing every pizza with imported Pecorino Romano because one final sprinkle adds the sharp, salty bite that ties every ingredient together.

And it means baking every pizza in Stefano Ferrara wood-fired ovens, hand-built in Naples by artisans who have spent generations perfecting them. At nearly 900 degrees, our pizzas cook in about 90 seconds, creating the charred crust and light, airy texture that simply can't be achieved in a conventional oven.

None of those decisions were the cheapest.
Every one of them was intentional.

This week's Mama Lil's Pizza is built on those same standards, then topped with spicy rope sausage, Mama Lil's peppers, imported provolone, and finished with a drizzle of Florida-made Datil Sting Hot Honey.

We marinate each pork butt for up to 24 hours and slow cook it in our lower temperature, AMORE, ovens for hours. This pork is everything you want: tender, saucy, and irresistible.
