We will be accepting applications for all positions, including:

We are immediately hiring cooks and will be filling those positions first. If you have kitchen experience and are looking for work, we’d love to meet you.

As many of you know, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring SKOOTERS Cafe back bigger, better, and stronger. Along the way we’ve faced a few unexpected hurdles and delays, but we’re excited to share that we’ve finally worked through them and are moving forward full steam ahead.

Starting Monday, June 15th, we will be at our new location preparing for our upcoming opening and getting everything ready for our final inspections in the coming weeks.

We want to thank everyone for your patience, support, encouragement, and the many messages asking when we’ll be back. Your support means the world to us.

We’re getting closer every day and can’t wait to welcome everyone back through our doors.

✨ This is kind of the look we’re going for at Skooter’s Cafe. ✨

If you’ve driven by lately, you’ve probably noticed we’ve already started adding outdoor seating and a bench to relax on while enjoying Quartzsite’s beautiful weather during the season. Next on the list… path lighting, updated signage, oversized desert planters, and a few more touches to help bring the whole vision to life. 🌵☕🐪

We wish we could say we’ve been enjoying some “time off” since shutting down… but honestly, I don’t think any of us have rested much at all. 😂 We’re all anxious to get back to work, see familiar faces again, and we’re anticipating so many new faces too.

And to all of you constantly messaging us, stopping us in town, asking about the opening date, and telling us how excited you are for the new restaurant… THANK YOU. Seriously. Your encouragement keeps us pushing forward on the hard days.

This is still very much a work in progress, but one thing we can promise is this:
We are committed to continuing to improve — not just until opening day, but long after the doors reopen. Better atmosphere. Better flow. Better food. Better service. Better experience. Always growing. Always listening. Always trying to raise the standard.

Big things are happening behind the scenes at Skooters Cafe… and we wanted to give you a little peek 👀

This new chapter has been a lot of hard work, long days, and big decisions—but it’s all coming together.

We’ve had an HVAC company out, and unfortunately the rooftop AC units were condemned… so now we’re doing the research to find the best commercial mini splits and the right team to install them—doing it right the first time.

In the kitchen, we’ve already replaced one large prep table (the old one just wasn’t cutting it), and we’re adding a new flat-top grill and charbroiler to level up what we can bring to your plate 🔥

We’ve also upgraded to a new fiber optic internet provider, which means we’re planning to offer FREE Wi-Fi for our customers 🙌

Behind the scenes, we’ve been:
• Testing and creating new recipes (yes… dinner options 👀)
• Revamping our style to fit the new space
• Keeping your favorite best-selling burgers
• Saying goodbye to a few that didn’t make the cut
• Adding fresh new breakfast, lunch, and dinner items

And that’s just part of it…

We’re also working on:
• Fixing the windows
• Getting the bathroom fully dialed in
• Deep cleaning, organizing, and building a smooth, efficient flow

Every detail matters—and we’re putting our heart into all of it ❤️

Good things take time… and we promise, it’s going to be worth it.

We are officially IN the new building. We have a lot of cleaning to do and getting all of our equipment in. Working on the AC and coolers etc. we will keep you updated as our journey progresses. 🙌🙌
