☕ Meet Northwest Blend

Our flagship dark roast is made for coffee drinkers who like a bold cup without the smoky, charred flavor that can sometimes come with a darker roast.

Each coffee in Northwest Blend is individually roasted to near French before blending, creating a rich, complex cup with notes of chocolate, creamy sweetness, jasmine and pineapple.

It's also one of our most versatile blends. Northwest is our choice for espresso, works beautifully in a French press or drip brewer, and it's our preferred blend for making cold brew.

When the summer heat is on, both cold brew and iced coffee hit the spot, but they aren't the same thing.

🧊 Iced coffee is traditionally brewed hot, then cooled and poured over ice.

☕ Cold brew skips the heat altogether. Coarsely ground coffee steeps in cold water for 12 hours or more, creating a smooth, concentrated coffee with less of the bitterness that can come from hot brewing.

When it comes to great coffee, one question comes up often: Should I buy whole bean or ground coffee?

The biggest difference comes down to **freshness.**

Whole coffee beans stay fresher longer because less of the bean is exposed to air. Once coffee is ground, more surface area is exposed, allowing the rich aromas and flavorful oils to begin fading over time.

If you have a coffee grinder at home, grinding your beans just before brewing is one of the easiest ways to enjoy the fullest flavor in every cup.
