If you love our special events at Magnolias, the Wheatland Concert Series at Shiloh Manor Farm offers another way to enjoy the Magnolias experience in a truly special setting.

As the dedicated catering partner, Magnolias creates a unique menu to complement each concert in the series. And this month, we’re heading to France for Bach by Harp.

The evening features the music of Johann Sebastian Bach performed live on solo harp by Dr. Alyson Kanne. During intermission, guests will enjoy a French-inspired meal featuring classic bouillabaisse with monkfish, shrimp, salmon, and mussels, followed by plum torte with homemade cinnamon ice cream.

Magnolias' Wedding/Events team was absolutely incredible from start to finish, and I can honestly say I would hire them again in a heartbeat. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in great hands. Shout out to Tyler as was he such a joy to work with—flexible, easygoing, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. During our food tasting, he offered thoughtful suggestions and let us mix and match menu options to create exactly what we wanted.

The food was beyond incredible. Chef Ian and his team absolutely delivered, and our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted. The butternut squash soup and tomato bisque soup OH MY YUM!! Every course was perfectly prepared, and you could tell how much care went into every detail.

The service and operations completely blew me away. The team beautifully set up our ballroom, and I didn't even realize until afterward that they had also set up all of the ceremony chairs outside. It was one less thing we had to think about.

The bartenders were phenomenal. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how fun and personable they were. There was never a line at the bar (110 guests) because they had thoughtfully pre-batched our signature cocktails and had dozens of glasses ready to hand out as guests left the ceremony. They even offered tasting samples in small cups before pouring full drinks, which everyone loved. They also encouraged guests to sample different wines throughout the evening, creating such a fun and interactive experience.

One of our favorite touches was the custom mocktail bar. We asked for a few creative nonalcoholic options, and the bartenders came up with three fantastic drinks that were such a hit that guests started ordering them—and even adding vodka! It was such a fun surprise and something people are still talking about.

At the end of the night, they even had no problem chilling and putting out Gatorade for our guests, which was such a thoughtful touch and so appreciated.

Magnolias' entire team operates at such a high level while making everything feel effortless. They exceeded every expectation we had, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. If you're looking for exceptional food, flawless ex*****on, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day unforgettable, Magnolias is the caterer you want.

We're pleased to partner with Shiloh Manor Farm for a truly unforgettable evening of music, food, and wine in their beautiful barn.

On Saturday, August 22, the Wheatland Concert Series presents an intimate performance by acclaimed harpist Dr. Alyson Kanne, featuring the timeless works of Johann Sebastian Bach, including selections from the celebrated Goldberg Variations.

During intermission, our culinary team, led by Chef Ian, will serve an elegant three-course French wine dinner inspired by the evening's performance.

The menu includes:
• Salade Chèvre Chaud with grilled local goat cheese, crostini, local greens, toasted walnuts, lardon, and balsamic vinaigrette, paired with imported Chablis
• Traditional Bouillabaisse with monkfish, shrimp, salmon, and mussels in a Pernod broth, served with garlic croustade and a Provençal rosé
• French Plum Torte with house-made cinnamon ice cream, coffee, and tea
