Walter's Brewery & Taproom Walter's Beer The Walter Brewing Company in Pueblo, CO was founded by Martin Walter in 1889. The brewery closed in 1975.

After almost 40 years, Walter's Beer is back! In 2014, a group of Pueblo natives purchased the facility and obtained the recipe for the Original Walter's German Pilsner - a pre-prohibition treat - History in a Glass. In addition to reintroducing a classic, Walter's Brewery also has a locally renowned Chile Pilsner, as well as many other varieties of beer available, including a brew for every season.

Mark your calendars: Walter's Annual Classic Car Show returns Saturday, October 17, from noon to 5 PM at 126 Oneida Street, Pueblo.

Admission is free, and it's a true family day out: classic cars, our People's Choice Awards, food and music. Kids and dogs are welcome.

Want to register your car? Registration closes Sunday, October 11. There is no day-of registration and spots are limited, so please register early! Selected entries will be contacted on or before October 14.
