I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and my heart keeps pulling me toward something bigger than myself. β€οΈ
Watching our community come together, seeing neighbors help neighbors, and having the opportunity to be a small part of that has reminded me just how deeply I love Pueblo. This community has given so much to me, and I truly feel called to give back in a bigger way.
I don't want to just cheer from the sidelines anymoreβI want to serve. I want to help make a difference, build connections, lift people up, celebrate everything that's good about Pueblo, and be someone who helps move our community forward.
I do have some health challenges right now, so I have to be realistic about my availability. I can't commit to weekly or even monthly meetings, but I absolutely could commit to something that meets quarterly or has a more flexible schedule.
If you know of a board, committee, nonprofit, or organization with an open seat, I'd be incredibly grateful if you'd think of me. I may not have every qualification on paper, but I have a servant's heart, a deep love for this community, and a willingness to work hard. I believe bringing people together, encouraging others, and helping people find solutions are gifts I've been blessed with, and I'd love the opportunity to use them to serve Pueblo.
Life has taught me that our purpose isn't measured by what we accomplish for ourselves, but by how we show up for others. That's the kind of life I want to live.
If you know of an opportunity where you think I could make a meaningful difference, I'd truly appreciate you reaching out or tagging me in the comments.
Thank you for always believing in me, for believing in our community, and for reminding me every day why I'm so proud to call Pueblo home. β€οΈ
