-roasted chicken, onion, potato, carrot, in a homemade, sweet/spicy Mole Poblano sauce

FRIDA TAMALES
-roasted cauliflower, onion, potato, carrot, garbanzo in a homemade Mole Poblano sauce

BBQ TAMALES
-roasted chicken, onion, potato, red/yellow/orange bell peppers, sweet corn, bacon crumbles and shredded cheddar cheese in a sweet & tangy BBQ sauce

SPICY GODZILLA TAMALES
-refried pintos, soy chorizo, onion, potato, sweet corn, pickled jalapeño, in a savory red chile sauce

TERIYAKI TAMALES
-crumbled tofu, sauteed broccoli, sugar snap peas, green beans, yellow & orange carrots, mushroom, red bell pepper, water chestnuts, onions, in a smoky pineapple/chipotle teriyaki sauce

Dear Friends,
El Azteca Provo is sadly now closed. What a ride it's been! Best Of State 3 years in a row, tons of creative creations for both carnivors and veganitos....even green curry Thaimales. We love what we do and business has seriously never been better. Unfortunately, the new location proved to be too expensive for us. We fought the good fight, but in the end, it wasn't enough. Once the dust settles, if we're ever able to find a smaller place we can afford, we'll do our best to try this again. Hovever, regardless of what the future holds, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for the love and support you've shared with us over the years. We love you, sincerely, and hope our paths cross again someday. xo

Tuesday & Wednesday, we need to close down after lunch service, from 3 to 5pm, in order to prepare for the dinner service. So sorry for this inconvenience. Thanks for your patience during these very busy days.

El Azteca, in Provo, is closing. We will be open during our regular hours until the end of September, with the exception of Saturday, Sept. 26th. We will be closed this day for a private wedding. On behalf of the Rubio family, both past and present, thank you for 53 amazing years. xo

Sweet Corn Tamales....for a limited time only!
-we use locally grown sweet corn, cinnamon and brown sugar to make these tasty tamales. Smothered with homemade pork chile verde, crema fresca and corn pico. Sweet & savory at its best!
