Something that opening this shop has shown me is that there is no greater power than the combination of DIY spirt, food, music and friendship. The fact that the reach of my shop reached Germany via word of mouth / internet and then muccrew Ⓥ while traveling over here made it a point to visit, twice now, is nothing short of humbling and amazing. The point is if you seek out to do things your own way, from methods you were raised by, molded by and adhered to, paving your own path, making friends via music food and friendship there are no boundaries to what it can do and how far the good you put out there can travel. Do you know we have a loyalty card program? Do you purchase sandwiches here at PVDeli? Well if you do you should have our loyalty card. Every sandwich you buy no matter the size you get one punch on your card! I.e. if you buy 4 sandwiches in one day you get four punches. After 10 punches during your NEXT visit you can redeem your card for a free sandwich from the menu of any size! ( Scooby is EXCLUDED from this offer )
So make sure you are like all of the folks who have already redeemed their cards and get your punches in!
Cannot be combined with any other offers. Full punch cards may be donated to others or redeemed to go towards our pay it forward free meal program.

We know yall love our meatball sub and our meatballs. This is a warning that The Vera will go into hibernation come November. We are HOPING to debut The Day After Thanksgiving sub the last weekend of October. We are revamping the holiday flavor seitan and looking forward to offering a new and improved holiday flavor bomb. This is all subject to change but we are hoping our plans stay on track! Also The Day After will just be offered in 8” versions this year in order to offer more sandwiches per weekend availability. And yes we will be doing our holiday roasts as well. Stay tuned !

We make our sauce and meatballs in house for our weekend meatball sub special. We call it The Vera named after Rich’s grandmother! Limited quantities every Saturday and Sunday. Will be rotation off the menu at the end of October!

We restocked our Alternative Baking Company cookies this week! I’m so glad so many people are excited that we carry these. They were such a huge part of my early vegan days and always got SO excited when I found them in the wild for a sweet treat. Also try out our imported Italian candies ! This is a slice of our house recipe, house made vegan pepperoni. Way back when Rich was known as BFP and selling small versions of his seitan at farmers markets he also was selling traditional ( vegan) style pepperoni sticks. They quickly became the most popular thing he sold even regularly providing to local pizza restaurants like Revival and Amano Pizza in Newport for use on their vegan pizzas. Now we only offer pepperoni sticks at holiday times and the recipe has been improved upon. But you can guarantee it’s full of Italian herbs, fennel seeds, red pepper flakes and cayenne to give it that savory kick.
Don’t forget ALL seitan we make is made from in house recipes and made daily, by hand, by our hard working kitchen.
