+ Rose Tea Parlor and Apothecary opened in July 2015 and was imagined as the ultimate urban escape. The eclectic but cozy vintage and antique filled parlor served over 140 teas and tisanes, afternoon tea, housemade light bites for lunch, a wide array of locally made desserts and Doria's sweet and savory scones. The shop was also ranked third in the US by Travel + Leisure in the April 2018 issue and number one in Atlanta by EATER Atlanta.. With a focus on whole body wellness, the apothecary/retail space housed handmade and Tipple + Rose's housemade small batch bath and body products, tea making accessories, small hostess gifts and mercantile, artisanal foodstuffs, organic bulk herbs and spices and over 15 kinds of honey. The one of a kind tea sniffing bar allows you the time and space to revel in your senses and choose the perfect blend to sit + sip or purchase by the ounce to enjoy at home. NOW…

With a family illness forcing an unexpected relocation in December 2019 (just six months shy of our 5th Anniversary) and a worldwide pandemic thwarting plans for our reopening in New Jersey. But, we've found a space in Princeton, NJ and will be reopening with full service tea and afternoon tea service. Our retail space focus will remain the same offering a wide array of tea brewing accessories, bath/body products, homesteading supplies, cozy accoutrements to complement your tea drinking experience at home, and, of course, our loose leaf and whole leaf teas! And, now, you’ll be able to buy our offerings online as we re-launch our web portal to offer shipping nationwide!

We guess now is as good as time as any to let you know that you can ice any of our black and herbal fruit teas if you’re dining in via our signature hyperbrew process and, if you’re on the go, we have three uncaffeinated cold brew teas of the day to choose from that you can also get as a flight:

TGIF and Vegans Rejoice!

Did you know we have TEN dedicated vegan menu items and another FIVE you can convert to vegan? You probably already knew about old favorites like our “Big Salads”, the Mezze Plate, The Mediterranean Grain Bowl, the Vegan Bahn Mi, the Guacamento Sandwich, The Tofu Gyro, and the Coconut Curry Hummus Wrap.

But, the two newest additions we’re most proud of are the Apple + Brie Croissant (because we found honest to goodness ah-mazing vegan croissants) and the Smoked Salmon Roll Wrap (because we also found honest to goodness vegan smoked salmon). We literally had to read the packages twice because we couldn’t believe it.

The Apple + Brie Croissant is made with Rebel Cheese Cave Aged Plant Based Brie, crisp Granny Smith Apples (local when possible), and our housemade Bumble Mustard (made with agave instead of honey) all warmed on a tender vegan croissant. 😋

The Salmon Roll Wrap is made with Plant Based Smoked Salmon, Vegan Wasabi Cream Cheese and Organic Baby Arugula in a Spinach Flour Tortilla with a Edamame Side Salad and a dipping sauce. 🤤

And, even though we already have a vegan formal afternoon tea, we’re introducing an even fancier one this summer replete with…a VEGAN CAVIAR amuse bouche! Stay tuned…
