Never did i ever. Think I would have to post such a thing nor do I want to now. I am literally fighting for my life. My nephew lost his life in a car accident. His services will be on his birthday, Wednesday, June 3rd. Send the love, send the prayers and send peace. This ain’t easy by no means.

I’m sure this post is eloquent but I’m exhausted with texting these words. So for anyone I missed, please forgive me. I love you.

50 HERE!!! When I think of the fact that I am now 50 whole years old, I’m soo shocked. However, I thoroughly embrace it. Every single part of my life has made the woman I am today. The bad things, the sad things, the complicated things, every single person, place and thing has helped to shaped me. And guess what? I’m not mad at any of it.

Theeeee BIGGEST emotion I feel in this moment is Gratitude! On last week 16 beautiful humans found it not robbery to join me in Destin, FL to celebrate me. I’ll get into all the thanks in another post but just know I love you all soo much. This was THEEE very first vacation that I have been on, as an adult, where I was truly unplugged and disconnected from my phone and laptop. Thank you everyone for your wishes, calls, texts, posts, etc. They truly meant the world. Love you!!!

Some days I feel so young and silly and other days my body reminds me of my age. lol. No worries there is a plan in place for that. The biggest lesson I have learned in all these years is that Joy is a choice. No matter what I have gone through and am currently being lead through, I CHOOSE JOY!! Every day.
