When they want a birthday cake but brownies are clearly the better choice

This one started out as a pan of brownies and got a little birthday glow up with chocolate frosting, sprinkles and an ode to turning 67🎂

Nothing fancy. Just brownies dressed up for the occasion and ready to celebrate another trip around the sun.

Because honestly, at 67, you deserve brownies. Lots of brownies. 😉

These are loaded with marshmallowy, caramely and chocolatey goodness.

And no, I didn’t even bother cutting these into neat little squares. 🤷‍♀️

I figured the person who ordered them can cut them whatever size they want. Big piece? Go for it. Tiny piece? Also fine. I’m not judging. 😂

My friend pleaded for a last minute cheesecake. Not your average cheesecake. She’s baklava and the star. And honestly, she knows it. 😂

This beauty was ordered for a very special birthday celebration, and she showed up ready to be the main character.

Pistachios. Almonds. Honey syrup. Cinnamon. All the yummy baklava goodness, layered into a rich, creamy cheesecake.

She brags up my goodies to everyone and I mean EVERYONE 💕, hypes me like she’s on payroll, and then orders HER favorite cake flavors for Bunco to share with her friends.

So I had some cowboy candy sauce leftover and was trying to figure out what to do with it. A quick search sent me down a rabbit hole and I ended up making Cowboy Candy BBQ sauce.

And y’all…🔥move over Sweet Baby Ray’s 😂 I’m serious. This stuff is UNREAL. Sweet, tangy, smoky, spicy, with that sweet heat from the cowboy candy. I took one taste and immediately thought, “Why is this THIS GOOD?! 😂

Now I’m looking around my kitchen trying to decide what gets slathered in it first.

This was supposed to be me figuring out what to do with leftover cowboy candy sauce. Instead I accidentally made BBQ sauce that might have me kicking the bottled stuff to the curb.

I really need to stop going down these rabbit holes. Or maybe I don’t. 😏🔥
