Dear Prescott,
This Sunday will be my last day at Brunch Broth and Bloom.
Cam and I built this dream from nothing bare walls, no heat, no running water, and just an idea that maybe we could create a place full of love and warmth. We worked side by side every day, 16 hour days freezing cold with a propane heater we called “Wall-E,” building every table, painting every wall, upholstering every chair, and dreaming of the day this little restaurant would feel alive. We wanted Brunch Broth and Bloom to be more than a place to eat we wanted it to be a home, a place where people felt cared for, comforted, and seen.
After Cam passed, I did everything I could to keep this dream alive on my own. I poured every ounce of energy, every bit of hope, every late night and early morning into this place. I had so much love and support from this incredible community your visits, your kind words, your encouragement, your hearts opening to this little dream, but even with all that, it wasn’t enough for me to do it alone. Saying goodbye fills me with so much sadness, it’s heartbreaking to step away from something that has been such a big part of my heart and my life.
I am so grateful that the interested new owners will be coming in to carry Brunch Broth and Bloom forward, but we are still waiting on the landlord. In the meantime, this Sunday will be my last day, and the restaurant may be closed for a bit.
If you’ve been meaning to come by, please do. Every meal you share this weekend helps me take care of my amazing staff and gives me one more chance to hug you, laugh with you, and share one last meal together. Every visit is a part of the story we built together.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving Brunch Broth and Bloom, for supporting me, and for being part of a dream that became so much more than I ever imagined. You turned a small idea into a family, and that love will stay with me forever. 💛
With all my love, gratitude, and a very heavy heart,
Andi
