We have been having specials on certain days the last few weeks at The Catfish Shack and the reaction has been positive. I had people call today wanting to know if we had the burger special today. We didn’t run a special today but the number of people that inquired about it has led me to do this. For the remainder of the summer we will do $3.00 hamburgers on Tuesdays, $3.00 chicken sandwiches on Wednesdays, $9.00 catfish nugget baskets on Thursdays, $2.75 chili cheese tots and Frito pies, along with $3.00 loaded baked potatoes on Fridays. You might want to screen shot this so you know what specials we are having each day. We appreciate your support.

Come by The Catfish Shack and enjoy some of the best catfish around. There are others that claim they are serving catfish but you’re actually getting Pangasius, Asian catfish farmed in Vietnam. Food suppliers buy the Asian fish because it is much cheaper than American catfish and then pass it off to their customers as catfish. It looks a lot like American catfish and has a similar taste but anyone that knows catfish knows the difference.

There are actually a lot of warnings against eating the Vietnamese catfish due to their highly questionable farming methods. The Pangasius is exposed to a lot of chemicals that may actually be dangerous to eat. We use 100% American farm raised catfish at The Catfish Shack.
