Sadly, As we approach our 3-year mark, it’s with a heavy heart that I share this news — we’ve made the difficult decision to close our doors. This week will be our final week.

When we opened, our dream was simple: to bring good, homecooked food and warm smiles to our small town. What we didn’t realize was how many friendships, memories, and moments would fill these walls. From early morning coffee chats to Sunday lunches with family, you’ve made Vonda’s feel like home in every way.

Running a restaurant in a small town has been a beautiful journey, but also a challenging one. There’s so much love, time, and effort that goes into keeping things going, and sometimes, the numbers just don’t add up no matter how heart you pour in. We are forever grateful for every person who supported us — whether you stopped in once or became part of our regular family. Your kindness, laughter, and loyalty have meant more than words can express. To every single person who has walked through our doors. You’ve filled this cozy little place with warmth, and memories that I will cherish forever.

I want to say thank you — to my amazing employees who are the best. You make every day enjoyable.

While this chapter is ending, new ideas are already stirring. A restaurant may not be the next step, but I know something wonderful will come from this. Because when something ends, it just makes room for something stronger and brighter to grow. 🌱
