On Tuesday, January 31st, our community endured a tragedy on Main Street in Poughkeepsie. A 3-alarm fire destroyed several homes and businesses displacing many members of our community and leaving others without work. Thankfully, no one was reported injured by the raging fires, but several families living above and adjacent to Tony's Pizza lost their homes and nearly everything that they own.
After witnessing the extent of the damages firsthand, and upon receiving an outpour of support and countless messages, many of which asked how one could help, we concluded that the families displaced are in need of all the help they can receive. We are thus organizing a fundraiser to assist the families that were living above Tony's Pizza - all proceeds will be given to those families. We appreciate all of the outreach and community support so many have shown!
