Friends of The Coventry Tea Room Food, friends and family... the most important things in life. The Coventry Tea Room lived in a beautiful old building, crafted in 1790.

It served as a colonial farm, a stop on the underground railroad, a doctor's office, and as a residence. For over 30 years, the Frederick family provided a place for the residents of Chester County to gather and enjoy a delicious meal with friends. A quiet comfortable atmosphere with just the right amount of country charm. This page is dedicated to the wonderful memories created in this building,

I may or may not have the inside scoop on a Lentil soup sale! That's right, you heard it here- Chef Thomas Frederick of the Coventry Tea Room will be sharing his gift of soup with the world, or at least Coventry PA. For the next couple months, while we enjoy cool fall nights, Chef Tom will be featuring one of his famous soups that we obsessed over for years!!! Every two weeks there will be a new featured soup... Suggestions are welcome! Delivery available in the OJR district, and all soups are freezer ready (my freezer is filled with his Cream of Chicken - SO GOOD). So, let me know if you want in on the goods! $10 a quart (serves 4).
