As we prepare to close this chapter, we want to take a moment to say thank you.
Our final day will be Columbus Day, Monday, October 12.
To our customers, friends, employees, musicians, vendors, and everyone who has walked through our doors over the years — thank you for being part of the Black Bear.
Thank you for the dinners, drinks, celebrations, music, laughter, conversations, and memories. 💕Thank you to those who became regulars, those who brought their families and friends, and those who supported us through both the busy times and the difficult ones.
Most importantly, thank you to our staff, past and present. A restaurant and bar is so much more than a building. It is the people who show up, work hard, take care of customers, help one another, and somehow keep things moving even on the craziest nights. We are incredibly grateful for the guidance from Butch and Patty and being allowed to be apart of a very special place.
This ending is bittersweet. We have poured a lot of time, work, heart, and ourselves into this place, and there are more memories here than we could ever fit into one post.
So instead of saying goodbye just yet, we hope you’ll come see us one more time.

Wednesday 6-9 Fun times with James Martin & Tom and the gang for Open Mic night.
Friday 9-12 Andre Chevalier will be playing some awesome tunes!
Saturday all night Open pool and juke box favorites.
