Let me start out by saying...I NEVER knew how very much we were loved!!!!❤️ The outpour of calls, texts, fb posts have all met so much and has kept me in tears for 2 days now. We do appreciate everyone and their kindness. It is not just the hood, it is also our health that is forcing us to step back. It was such a hard decision to make.... we also very much appreciate the offers of donations but opening back up is just something we are not physically able to do right now. We were already talking about closing but just not so abruptly. We thought we had months of planning and celebrating. This I know was a shock to so many as it was to us. We feel like we have lost a family member by closing the store down. It was our child! We have not approved a GOFUNDME ... the thought was very special and heartwarming. But we are not asking for donations. I wish I could hug every single one of your wonderful hearts!!!!! WE LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL!!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

It is with a heavy and broken heart that we are announcing that Moseberth’s Fried Chicken has closed. Last Saturday our hood exhaust system broke and we were forced to close down. This week we were trying to get it repaired but we were unsuccessful. With the time it would take to get a new system in, the cost, the rise of prices of food and supplies in the last several years and especially the last year with the Corona virus, and along with family health problems.... we have decided now was the time to close.
To our employees, I do not want to lose contact with you! We are family and you have been such a wonderful part of our lives and our family for 81 years. We have had some very special ladies that have been with us for decades and five who were with us for over 50 years. The bound that we have with these ladies is something I just can’t explain in words. Our employees have stuck with us in good times and in bad times and we truly love and appreciate you!!!! I will miss seeing you on a daily bases!
To our customers....Thank you for all of your love and support over the many years. There are families that we have severed for 4 or more generations and you will be forever in our hearts. Without our customers and without our employees, we would not have been successful for 81 years.

Today, April 3, 2021 Moseberth’s is closing at 4:00PM due to equipment failure. We hope to reopen as usual on Tuesday, April 6th. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. On the bright side, OUR NIGHT TIME EMPLOYEES CAN GO HOME AND START SHARING THIS EASTER WEEKEND WITH THEIR FAMILY 😘

Due to the weather reports on Hurricane Isaias we will be closed on Tuesday, August 4th so our employees will be home with their families and not on the streets. Please stay safe and we will see you on Wednesday morning at 11 am!
