We know, we know! We’ve been largely absent on the social medias recently. Sorry! But it’s because we’ve been out in the forests mushing around for shrooms. (Photo 2 is proof!). It’s been a great season so far, lots of lobster mushrooms out for about 6 weeks now. They’ve been on our menu in a couple forms: 1st is the Creamy Lobster Udon, paired with a creamy garlic sauce, & fresh tiny tomatoes, it’s really fantastic with a squeeze of lemon juice. Also gracing the menu right now are Lobster Croquettes: Melt-in-your-mouth yellow potatoes & more lobsters breaded with our house made panko. served with a side of miso mayo sauce. I woulda taken a photo, but every time someone puts an order in front of me, I can’t help but scarf them down.

Everything about lobster mushrooms is amazing. They’re huge, red, flavorful & have a perfect texture. Definitely one of the most underrated fall mushrooms.
