I did something a little bit different today. It’s probably not technically a Soup. But I made red beans and rice. Two versions. One is vegan and gluten-free. The other one has smoked pork and is gluten-free as usual. I have tomato vegan and gluten-free and the Hungarian mushroom is back in stock. It is vegetarian. The weather here is pretty glorious. Today’s soups are salmon, chowder, gluten-free tomato, vegan gluten-free and a luscious butternut squash, vegan and gluten-free. I went to the spice store yesterday and found a really lovely spice blend Baharat and that is what’s flavoring the butternut squash. It’s really earthy with nutmeg and coffee flavors.
